Drusus

I agree... unfortunately our country strives so hard to be 'politicaly correct' that we are forced to alter our vocabulary. Sheesh, we even say MR to refer to mentally retarded clients because it 'sounds less harsh.' Or 'little or wee people' to refer to midgets and dwarfs. These are all medical terms that serve a purpose. The problem lies in both connotation and interpretation. Interpret me how you want, and ill say what i want. At least if we have lost the freedom of speech we reserve the right to be EDUCATED. Thank god for that! (PPFFFTHHHHT to stupid folk!) LOL;-)

Heaven

THAT was another word I was thinking of! MIDGET. If you are a midget you "are" little and wee. But we don't need to speak with adjectives. You are still a midget. If you are jewish, you are a jew. If you are fat, you are just fat. Not Gravitationly Challenged, or horizontally challenged, or suffer from excessive body tissue disorder. Sorry. If you have one leg, you have one leg. You cannot get all pissed off when some one tells you that you have one leg. If you walk into an audition as a male, and you talk like a girl, walk like a girl, sing like a girl, then choose Cher as a song, you simply cannot get offended if people are confused by this and suggest that maybe you are the wrong gender. I just think its crazy. Then all the people get into an uproar and say "I cannot believe you asked him to wear a dress!!!! OH MY GOD!!! You MUST be homophobic. OH my GOD, AMERICAN IDOL HAS TURNED INTO A GAY BASHING HATEFEST!!!!!! I mean come on people. That was never even said. Just relax and like you said, look at the connotation and interpret it for that situation. GOD. (said like napoleon dynamite)
